LISA KNISPEL, founder and executive chef
Lisa is a graduate of the professional culinary program at Tante Marie's Cooking School in San Francisco, and worked at Boulevard Restaurant in San Francisco under chef-owner Nancy Oakes. As well, Lisa previously worked with Betty Zlatchin Catering Company, and taught and assisted with cooking party classes both at Tante Marie's Cooking School and with Gourmet Gatherings. In addition to her work as a personal chef, Lisa teaches cooking party classes with the company Hands On Gourmet, and is a chef for the American Culinary Chefs' Best organization, which has chef panels test, taste and judge America's food products.
Lisa has first-hand knowledge regarding special diets, and tailors her menus to each client's dietary restrictions, preferences and needs. Lisa enjoys using the freshest, seasonal ingredients and is eager to share her love of food and cooking with her clients.
